4-year courses that lead to a Master's degree eligible for a full-time funding?

Hi Everyone, thank you in advance for your time and attention.

Are courses that are both undergrad and postgrad like UCAS code H81D or D322 eligible for a full time funding as a second degree? I already have an undergraduate degree in a non-science field.

Hi Calum, thank you for your respond. I apologize I forgot to mention that this is a second degree that I'm looking for as I have an undergrad degree already. I'm just looking for the general rule whether it's possible to do such courses full time. One of such courses that I'm looking into is Computer Science MSci at University of Nottingham Ucas Code G404. Thanks you.

Hi there,

We normally don't fund a second degree unless its one of our exception courses. Computing isn't one our full time exception courses.

Thanks,
Claire

Thank you very much! So even though there is a MSci in the title, it's treated like undergrad degree, correct?

Hi Jason, thank you for your time. I have a non-honours bachelor's degree in law.

Thanks for confirming.

It would be treated as a part time degree, it is not an exception course at Full Time level.

Thanks,
Ross

Hi! Second degree loans are not available for all subjects - they must be included in a list of subjects pre-approved by the government. Please see this email address for Funding and Financial Support https://www.nottingham.ac.uk/studentservices/support/financialsupport/index.aspx
