Rejected from accommodation - RVC

I've just been rejected from all of my accommodation choices at the RVC and I've been put on a waiting list, but I think that it's really unlikely for me to get into their accommodation because I live within commuting distance (about an hour drive). I don't want to live at home and commuting in would be extremely expensive and time consuming. I would appreciate any advice on how to choose affordable private accommodation (hopefully around £200-£240 a week) or how I can sort this out. Thanks.

Hi RachelMagee,

We cannot give financial advice here - I would advise speaking to your university about this.

Thanks,
Calum

I've moved your thread to the Vet Med forum to help you get replies.

Some of the RVC accommodation is really far out, you might not be much further away being at home.

you don't need to limit yourself to RVC accommodation - any generic student accommodation would work. It is London so prices will just be high anywhere near Camden.
