EPQ as an A-level for law?

Hi everyone! I’m going to be applying for Law soon, and have to choose a uni prep A-level for year 13 while doing my A2. I’ve chosen EPQ but can anyone tell me if universities like it or not? The universities I’m interested in are: Oxford, KCL, LSE, Queen Mary, Manchester. I am also doing History, Math, Biology as other A-levels, and still have the option of keeping Literature (since I swapped it with EPQ, and have done my AS for it). Any advice would be amazing, thanks!

Hi,

Advice for this would be the following:
EPQ can be great for many reasons, the most important being, an opportunity to formulate an essay in the same style as Uni.
For some universities, having a good EPQ (A*) can allow you to obtain an contextual offer.

I'll recommend you having a look at the LNAT as for the university you have stated, they require you to complete the LNAT.

Hello!

Yes, I have already started my LNAT preparation for my Oxford, LSE and KCL applications, but just wondering whether those three universities value the EPQ that much (according to KCL’s website, they don’t even consider it as part of the application which is quite harsh).

But I appreciate your reply!
