Was this the right choice?

I applied to a job and got given a creative task to do by the hiring manager.
The hiring manager sent me the link of the task however I was unable to access the link.

I emailed the HM to tell them the issue and I also requested access to the link.
The link was the only way I could work on the creative task, I had no other option.

I realised on my emails that someone within the company, declined my request - which I could understand.

I decided to withdraw my application, due to the awkwardness of the person that declined my request for the creative task ( - they could've been my future boss or someone on my future team) and it me feel very unwelcome and gave me a negative feel of the company - they already told me I wasn't a good fit anyway.

I mean I think you made the right choice of withdrawing your application. If a company doesn’t rlly make you feel comfortable or it gives u a negative feeling then I think it was a right decision of deciding not to work there. (You wouldn’t wanna rlly be working at a workplace where u feel somewhat unwelcomed and not wanted.)
I don’t know u but I’m sure u will be able to find another place where u may feel like you’d be able to fit in or is a perfect and healthy environment for u to work in. 🙂
