I just received my reading list from uni (I'm an offer holder) and I'm a bit overwhelmed by it. It has lots of information and it says I need to learn how to do python coding (I have never ever done anything related to computer science or coding in my life) which I have no idea what it is, or how to learn it, or what to do. It also has a list of many books and textbooks, but I'm just overwhelmed. Does anyone have any tips? I don't really want to start this work until results day as there is a really high chance I will not have made the grades for the uni, but I don't know if that's cutting it to close to then start the work after results day. Also I'm not sure if I am meant to read the textbooks they have suggested or if that info is only relevant for when we have to buy them at the start of uni? Also anyone have any tips on how to approach the reading list and how not to totally forget everything on there before uni starts in like 3 months? How do I digest and make the most of the books? Should I write notes? Please help me I'm really struggling!!!! I also really need help for the coding part if anyone has any advice at all I'd be so grateful thank you!
