I have a similar case, applied for MSc Renewable and Sustainable Energy Technologies with Advanced Practice for September 2024 Intake at Northumbria University Newcastle. The University is ready to issue CAS but that is not happening due to me not having ATAS certificate (CAS deadline is 20 August). I have submitted my ATAS application on 30 May 2024 and reference number is 3922**. Can you tell me your ATAS application reference number?

I would soon update when I will get my ATAS certificate and decision as soon as I receive that. Hope we all get ATAS soon.

Bro, you can talk to your university in email regarding your situation, they usually also issue late CAS if deemed appropriate. But, you should also be able to get your visa on time, I was late for my visa for this course (September 2023 Intake) because I had not done my TB test on time (should have taken the test at least 2 and half months before applying for the visa). I took the TB test just a day before biometrics for the student visa, and the X-ray test as the TB test showed a lung scar and I was suffering from cough at that time, and the medical team referred for sputum test which took exactly 8 weeks, and the TB report was negative later. Wish nobody would lose a whole academic year due to situation I had to face.

Thanks for reading my rant so far. Hope the ATAS team would issue our CAS soon. I will update you about the decision as soon as I get it and expect the same from you.

You could change the subject to other subjects of your interests and relevant previous qualifications as well as experience that don't require ATAS. I was going to take another subject if I was unable to get ATAS within next 15 days and had talked to the Northumbria University if I could change my subject, they had said yes.

I feel your frustration bro, and hope the almighty give us good path and guidance and peace. Hope you receive your ATAS soon. Please update me about your situation whenever anything changes.

I don't know bro, but I have a feeling that the UK government is racist towards people following faith of The Prophet Mohammad, I have seen a lot of your people not receiving ATAS because of muh ter***ism risks they believe. I don't want to create trouble or any ethnic online war for me or anyone, but I feel like that bro. You should have got ATAS before me, as you had applied at least 15 days before me.
