Sixth Forms in London

Hi there! I’m currently in year 10 but have to start thinking about sixth forms to apply to.

Does anyone know of any good sixth forms in London? Preferably north and west? Really appreciate it.

Hi, as someone who has just finished their GCSEs and is going into sixth form in September 2024, I can help as I applied for a lot of places.
North London sixth forms I recommend looking into:
1) Woodhouse college
2) Qe boys schools
3) Ashmole Academy
Other schools :
1) Camden school for girls (I see from your name you’re a boy but they accept boys in the sixth form)
2) King Soloman Academy (this is the sixth form I’m going into it is located in Westminster)
3) St marlybone ce school
4)

Hi I’m planning on definitely taking Spanish, french and English lit. If my gcse grades are good enough I’ll be taking sociology as a 4th a level

Wow, that's so interesting! This is such a nice coincidence too because I love learning languages as well. How many do you speak (even if not fluently)? I've tried learning at least 15 but I've only really stuck to about 7. 😬😅
J'espère que tout ira bien et que tu pourras étudier la sociologie aussi! I was planning on taking a very similar route to what your subjects sound like but my parents really want me to do what they did so I'm probably taking mostly STEM subjects. 😅
Anyway, good luck on whatever you do! I hope your GCSEs turn out amazing and you get to do sociology.

Omg u seem so cool I love learning languages too. At the moment the languages I speak are : English (I live in london my whole life ahah), Bulgarian (my mother tongue), and french and Spanish. I’m rlly interested in modern foreign languages esp french bc I wanna live in Paris one day (even though it’s so crowded bc of tourism). I just couldn’t resist doing two languages a levels , I couldn’t think of another a level I’d enjoy and I just couldn’t choose between french and Spanish. Hopefully I will learn another language, I would rlly like to learn a Baltic language like Lithuanian or Latvian, idek why lol

Wow that’s amazing! I love Slavic languages so it’s nice you speak Bulgarian. My late grandpa spoke Russian, but I haven’t used it in a long time so it’s a bit rusty now. 😅 I love Paris too! Such a lovely city.

I have a Lithuanian friend and she teaches me Lithuanian sometimes, but I don’t really know much. I hope you get to learn it though!
