Anxiety & possibility of working from home during sixth form

Hi there

I have really struggled with my mental health and going into school and have one year left at my school's sixth form. I have been doing g really well working from home while I've not been able to go in, I'm doing 2 x btecs and 1 x a level, I'm wondering what the possibility is of being allowed to continue to work from home next year while still registered at school. Has anyone else done this? Many thanks
Hi,
Have you been able to receive any support from your school for your mental health? They might be able to offer some extra support for you while your still at school, or be able to refer you to someone (if you wanted) for some more specialised support for you.

Every school is pretty different, with what they allow and don't allow in regards to working from home. I know that schools can make exceptions for students if they have exceptional circumstances, which impacts them from coming into school (e.g. mental health). However, you will normally need a meeting with the school before they will agree to such a plan.

I would recommend that you speak to the school about this before the summer break, so you have some sort of idea for when you return in September.

I hope this helps,
