Will Politics be too weak of an A-Level for Econ at Uni?

Hey,

I'm in Year 11, I'm a high-aspiring student predicted mostly 8s and 9s (God willing RS goes well), and I want to do Economics at LSE/Oxbridge, or a target RG. Currently, my options are

Maths
Further Maths
Economics
Politics

But, I worry that Politics as an A-Level is too 'soft' and not respected as much to give me a competitive disadvantage in admissions. I was considering changing it to something like History, as I did that for GCSE. Though, I like the idea of studying Politics much more than that of History, which makes me feel like it might not be worth switching.

What do you all think?

Thanks

Excellent A level - essay based academic subject and obviously relevant to Economics.
No Uni will have a problem with this as a choice alongside your other A level subjects.
