Why choose Kingston University?

Future Skills

At Kingston, we’re passionate about enhancing our students’ life chances by helping them make the most of their learning opportunities and equipping them with the Future Skills and knowledge needed in the 21st Century’s demanding workplace. Embedded within every course curriculum and throughout the whole Kingston experience, Future Skills will play a role in shaping you to become a future-proof graduate, providing you with the skills most valued by employers such as problem-solving, digital competency, and adaptability. As you progress through your degree, you’ll learn to navigate, explore and apply these graduate skills, learning to demonstrate and articulate to employers how future skills give you the edge.

Forward-thinking degrees
Many of our courses have been developed in consultation with professional organisations and carry accreditations.

Amazing facilities
We are also continuing to invest in our campus facilities to provide students with an excellent study environment. Our Town House building is the winner of Britain’s Best New Building (RIBA Stirling Prize 2021) and the 2022 Mies van der Rohe Award, the highest accolade in European architecture.

Best of both worlds location
And when it comes to location, you’ll find us in the student-friendly riverside town of Kingston which offers the perfect combination of modern city living with a relaxed small town feel, and just a short train ride from central London.

TEF Gold
We’ve been awarded three Gold ratings in the latest Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), recognising that our student experience and student outcomes are typically outstanding. TEF is overseen by the Office for Students (OfS) and encourages universities to deliver to the highest standards in the areas students most care about teaching, learning and achieving positive results through a range of opportunities during their time at university. The ratings reflect the extent to which universities and colleges consistently deliver to the best of their ability for their undergraduate students across all subject areas, also shining a light on how universities support their students regardless of their backgrounds or start in life.

Our Clearing phone lines open at 8am on Results Day so give us a call to chat to our friendly team or visit our website for more info about Clearing.
