I have an offer to study computer science and maths at Queen Mary university. Do I need to purchase a graphical calculator like the Casio fx-CG50

No, any time you need graphical abilities you’ll use a phone/computer. Generally graphical calculators can’t be used in an exam

But you may want to, that’s alright. It might be useful but not necessary
