A Level Further Maths Options

I am in Year 12 and I will like to study Mathematics at university. What A level further maths option will be the best for STEP II and STEP III. Also does your choice affect how the start university Maths degree will be (challenging or easier).

im not sure abt other modules bc i dont take them i do further pure 1 and 2 and a lot of ppl say further pure 2 is very useful for uni and helps a lot with certian modules (but idk much cuz im not doing maths at uni) obviosly u have to do further pure 1 to to further pure 2 so u might want to consider it but i really enjoy it and ik i would enjoy it much more than further mechanics for example

i think u should pick ur fav tbh if u pick further mechnaics for example but u hate physics u will HATE learning it and it makes it so much easier studying something u actually care abt - also u might want to consider difficulty bc as much as i love further pure it is really hard especially since im self studying cuz my school dosent allow me to do it and some schools dont even offer fp2 because they think its too difficult but its amazing if u love maths and want to take it further and it makes the step like a billion times easier than if u didnt study it

sorry if this is all over the place 😭but first i would reccomend pick ur fav if u still dont know i reccomend fp1 and fp2 (tbh im really biased lol but stil) bc i think it is the most useful especially if u want to do a pure maths degree or modules from a pure maths degree or if u just want to nail the step - also taking it makes core pure in further maths SO much easier which is a huge advantage and maths a level looks like a joke next to it cuz its so easy if yk the further maths stuff

anyways good luck sorry its so long and lmk if u have any questions !
