Strategically Applying for Universities

Hello, I would just like to enquire on how to find the cutoffs for the universities as all I can find are the minimum entry requirements (maybe I’m just blind). Ideally, this is for the 2025 Entry, so I would like to find cutoffs for 2023-24.

In addition, what should I look out for when choosing which unis I would like to apply to with these grades?

there's no way to know until u have ur ucat score - but what are the grade 6s in? cutoffs u can often find in med school admissions policies/web pages e.g. https://le.ac.uk/study/medicine/applying

Both languages 😕 (English and Chinese)

ahh ok, in that case ur prob better off avoiding the gcse heavy med schools which score english language then, as that would bring down ur score for them.

I see, is there anywhere where I can find the universities that are GCSE heavy? From what I know of, it looks like Liverpool, Manchester are GCSE heavy (I heard Oxford too but I can't seem to find its GCSE requirements)

Click the link in the first post of this thread, but check all websites, too, as this has not been updated for a few years, eg Newcastle will be 50% GCSEs from this year
