Faith is black and white in certain aspects. Either you can or you can't. When it comes to things like dating and having relations outside of marriage, it is a clear no in Islam.

Some do date, others don't.
Same as some practicing hindu girls, catholic girls, sikh girls, fundamentalist christians and other religious christians girls do.
Some religious mormon girls too.

The fundamentalist members of islam won't date, they oppose all free mixing of adults of opposite biological sex outside of the family and are committed to arranged marriages.
Some ultra-conservatives of islam have similar beliefs as regards considering it a sin for two opposite sex adults that are unmarried to be alone unless there is either a medical emergency or the male guardian of the woman has provided his permission.

Believe it or not there are a few that do and have no care of the consequences, it's haram because it leads to sinful acts like zina. However these relationships are very fragile and don't last very long as they end up finding someone better or aren't interested for marriage etc.

It's haram (not allowed) to do so. I'm sure it happens, but it's not allowed or encouraged whatsoever. Activities like that are reserved for marriage.
