HELP - Career and Undergrad course in STEM

Hi I am in year 12, and I am doing physics, maths, further maths, chemistry A levels. I am not what to do as my career. So can anyone give me any suggestions?
I am interested in developing/inventing new machines/technology (prob in medicine). My favourite subjects are physics and maths, and I think I am good at them.

My ideal undergrad uni course would:
- involve a good amount of maths, as I enjoy doing it
- lead to a variety of careers, and careers that are high in demand and maybe well paid

I also want to go to one of the top unis.

I think engineering would be suitable for me (maybe), but I am not really sure which speciality. I have looked at biomedical engineering at Imperial College London, although the course seemed quite appealing, but when I researched, I have found out that there are very very few jobs that I can do with this degree, and also many people who do this course regretted it and saying not to do it. Therefore, I won't do this degree.

Please recommend me any what career and undergrad course suits me the best, I am open. I want to decide on something before it's too late.

Thank you very much for reading all this, and all help is really appreciated
I work in Aerospace as an engineer, and aerospace engineering fits all of the above. As a starter for ten.
