OASC Tips or Guidance?!

Hello,

I am attending OASC in a few weeks and I am struggling on choosing my current affairs topics. I've read I should have 4 home news topics and 4 international, but I really don't know where to start.

I'm not asking for you to hand the topics to me, just give advice on choosing?

Any other general tips would be appreciated because info is really limited! Thank you

Info is limited because that's part of the assessment; to see how well you prepare for what you know and how you respond to spontaneous situations!

What's the difficulty with you picking topics to discuss?

I think the difficulty for me is trying to choose topics which are (fairly) easy to study and aren't too large-scale, so I don't end up revising for hours but only knowing half of the info.
