I like a girl but i am not her type

I have known this girl for the past 3 months and she lives half an hour away. I started talking to her because a friend added her on snapchat from my phone (ik it sounds weird). That friend used to talk to her and she liked him but he didn't like her back. He is my height so not so high has black curly hair and didn't even care a little bit about her, while i have straight brownish hair and not really the best looking. But i do ask her how she is and always try to lighten the mood. At the start when we started talking she seemed interested and was flirting and stuff but a few days later she just talked about my classmate (The guy she was into) I comforted her and she got kinda over it now. So i was her shoulder to cry on. I fell for here there but my heart shattered when she started talking about other guys and that she will go on a third date with a guy. That was for her short lived because the guy said he doesn't want to go even tho they planned it. She then asked me what to do. I said do what you think is right. She later ended things with him and send me a screenshot of him from instagram. He is really similar to my classmate she was into. Last week she started talking to yet another dude and i snapped. I wasnt angry on text but she caught up that something was wrong. I kept telling her nothing was but she wasnt sure i also started having longer response times. I usually texted her back the same minute but i texted her back every two hours or so. I am now starting to talk to her again but she seems really different and distant. She just doesnt want to tell me anything about her and i am getting worried i messed up big time. This is also my first time since i was usually a really shy dude. She even offered to call but i pretended i was busy because i was scared to talk to her. I then hinted to her that she can call if she wants but she never did. I dont know what to do and i am extremely sorry that i wrote such a detailed story. I just wanted to write out what i feel. Please help me.

Hmm, thats a bit of a *****y thing to do. Personally I would find the prettiest girl you can, who will oblige ,and take a selfy and send it to HER and say "well this is me on my date" !
