Results Day anxiety

Am I the only A-level student that is struggling to relax and settle into summer due to results day anxiety. In hindsight the grades I reach should be attainable, but I just feel like I have missed my offer. If so what do I do? I have worked hard to get to this point and if I miss out on my apprenticeship because of a few UCAS positions I am not exactly sure what I can do because I really don’t want to have to resit. Does anyone have any coping mechanisms or advice for this ?

Stop panicking. You may have done far better than you assume, or that Uni may accept you anyway.
Yes, its natural to be worried but over-thinking this will drive you nuts. Get out and do things - go to the cinema, go swimming, start running, go on holiday - anything to give you something else to focus on.

For my results day i planned for every outcome. This wasn't the healthiest way to deal with the stress ....

For example, I wrote down BBB - then what i would do if i got those results next to it. I made sure i had all the important contact info on my phones Notes app, so i can start calling unis if i needed to go through clearing etc.

just be prepared. Then once you done that. Enjoy your summer, its the longest one you'll get. Get a job, pick a hobby, learn a language
