Is it possible to stay in education my whole life?

i wish i could just go from one uni to another and study every possible thing ever, like i wanna learn my whole life, i wanna learn everything about everything. like i wanna learn about history of different countries and ancient civilisations and theoretical physics and philosophy and classical literature and modern literature and learn different languages and art history and modern art and computer science and how things work, but it feels like your life is restricted to specialising in one thing and one thing only. and it's so sad. because i wanna know everything, i love learning things. but would that even be possible? like how on earth could i possibly even get the money for that? is it possible to get offered a scholarship every time you apply to a university if you're that good enough? i just wish to know everything the world has to offer, but learning by myself is not easy.

You can, but you need a crazy ton of money that is just sitting there. Off the top of my head, you would need at least 30k a year just sitting in your bank account just to live. 10k for uni and materials, add another 15k for accommodation and at least 5k for food. And 5k for food would be forcing you to have basic meals for the whole year. If you don't have that kind of money and you need a job to fund it, all of a sudden, uni doesn't seem that worth it because the job will probably pay less than 30k a year before tax.

If you have that kind of money, I salute you.

Woah… hi I feel similar! There’s way too much to explore but few opportunities to explore them all academically. Ive resigned myself to the fact that most things I will have to explore out of academia like literature by reading, writing and visiting places.
