I get the message awaiting sponsor 1 (and 2) details, but both sponsors say they have followed the instructions on the email provided, what do I do?

Were they able to actually provide their details to us?
You can always contact us directly to check that we received the details as we don't have account access on public forum. You can either access the live chat function online, or call 0300 100 0607.
