im kind of terrified

im going to study adult nursing in september and im terrified, i'm so scared that i wont be able to cope with the placements do i just cancel my ucas application

No don’t cancel it! I would be more worried if u weren’t teffified. You’re young, and this is a big change! Try to change that feeling into excitement, and it will have a big impact on how you feel

Hi there, current student nurse here!

It's completely normal to feel terrified.
You're about to embark on a daunting new step in life, and I was very much in your position when I first started.
You will have support before beginning placement, so you won't be going in blind, so to speak. There are also designated members of staff in the university and out in practice who are there to support you.

What exactly is worrying you about placement? Is it the shifts, clinical skills, etc.?
