applying to same uni with two diff courses?

hi! i really wanna go to newcastle university and was wondering if it's possible that i apply for both their medicine and speech and language therapy undergraduate programmes? i've seen some people say it is possible but is it the same of one of the courses im applying for is medicine?

My teachers have told me whilst yes you can do this it’s not recommended as if you apply to one course there is the chance for you to switch courses and then you keep your options open in case you don’t get accepted you’ve still got the other options but I would check with the uni and their website/ucas as there may be more about it there

If you’re applying for med then one of your choices must be a non- med course as you can only pick four med options.

Contact Newcastle and ask if you can submit a personal statement directly for the other course.
