Postgraduate Master’s Course extra year of funding under compelling reasons

Hello, I sent a letter through the post for an Application for Postgraduate Master’s Course extra year of funding under Compelling Personal Reasons enclosing evidence. I received an acknowledgement email letting me know that they have received my application and to follow the latest update on my application to follow the link to my online account. But my account doesn't show anything only the postgraduate course that I withdraw due to compelling reasons. The reason that I sent the letter by post is that online I was not able to apply for Postgraduate course as I withdrew from a previous course. How can I find any updates on my application? I have received an unconditional offer for the course I want to study and need to register for the course but I won't be able to register until funding is confirmed.

When did you send the application? Did you send evidence of your Compelling Personal Reasons with it?

I sent the application/letter via special delivery post on the 24th June 24 and I did enclosed evidence with the letter. I received an acknowledgement email on the 1st July 24. See below. But I can't see anything on my online account. Nothing in the inbox either.

We've recently received evidence to support your application for student
finance and will process this as soon as possible.
What happens next?
We'll contact you to advise of your entitlement once your application and
evidence have been assessed.
How can I check the progress of my application?

Hi there, applications can take 6-8 weeks to process. If you monitor your online account for this updating once it's processed. Thank you very much for your response Jason, but the link takes me to the webpage for undergrad and the Youtube video is for Undergrad. I am applying for postgrad and I cannot see any application summary page as I was not able to apply via online.

When I sign in to my student finance account is not showing anything not even the communication of the acknowledge email that was sent to me on the 1/7/24.

Do I need to wait for the application to be processed to be able to see anything on my online account?

Hi there,

Yeah. If we got the application on 1/7/24 it can take 5-10 working days to be added to the system via data entry.

Once it's on the system you will be able to view and track the process.
