Year abroad - Korea or Japan?

Soo i've been wondering which country out of the two would be best for a year abroad.
I've got offers to study languages at uni, ranging from korean to japanese. I'm more confident in my ability in Korean but I'm interested in both countries and cultures.
Has anyone who has been on a year abroad to either countries give me some insight? I am more familiar with Korea's universities, however, I've become quite interested in what Japan has to offer and I would love to experience Japan also, especially as someone who is quite introverted I feel japan may be better suited in some ways.
thanks <3

Hey! Korean here. From what I know, there are quite a few scholarships for foreign students in universities, but I'm pretty sure how comfortable you'd feel would differ a lot depending on the university. I'm 99% sure Yonsei University has a Korean language program for those that need it, but am not sure about other schools.
