Imperial College Delay of Submission of Condition for Offer

I am an international student who is taking AP (Advanced Placements)
I have got an offer from EEE undergrad and my deadline to submit conditions are 07/31.
There was an exam administration problem when I was writing one of the AP exams and as a result, I had to rewrite the test at a later test date.
It turns out that due to this, the results of my AP exams will be delayed, and I won't have them until 08/15 which is after the deadline to submit exam results (07/31) on my offer.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?
And how should I contact the department for delaying the deadline? (Is phone or email better?)
