Childcare grant

My nursery childcare costs are over £300 a week but my childcare grant has been assessed as £98 a week.
I can't find a way to make it work even with full maintenance loan and working in the evening.
Does anyone know of you can ask for more help? It's now looking like I can't take my place on the course and I'm so devastated! I can show that our mortgage payments, bills, food, etc leave very little left and I don't have any other help with my children like grandparents!

Oh I've just seen that we can use the 15 hours as well so that makes it more affordable!

Hi crijjy,

If your application has been income assessed we may not be able to offer the maximum entitlement for the Childcare Grant. We cannot give financial advice so I would advise speaking to your university or the Citizens Advice Bureau for assistance on how to cover your costs.
