Name change
I have been thinking about changing my name here recently as I am not too fond of my current name, I know this might sound ridiculous but I just have never felt like my name and I don't really care for it. I think I'm going to change my name when I'm 18, I'd change it now but my parents are strict and will think it is ridiculous that I want to change my name. Can anyone give me some advice about this please

I think you should tell them that you want to change your name and see what they're reactions are and go for it change your name on here.

I wanted to change my name as soon as I hit 18. My parents were against it, and I respected their wishes for many years. Then around 27/28 I decided enough was enough and went through with a name change socially, then at 29 changed it legally. My only regret is not doing so sooner.
