Degree or apprenticeship

Hi all,

I am in my 2nd year of my university degree in design engineering and I just knew recently about the apprenticeship . I love my study but it is really expensive and besid I really can’t wait for another 4 years to start a practical experience as I am doing part time. I did a foundation year at the beginning so that’s makes it 3 years of studing. And now I am confused should I continue with my uni studies for another 4 years or should I go towards apprenticeship. Does my 3 years studying will be counted if I went through apprenticeship route or am I going to loose them? So confused! Any advice please?
