Pgce funding
Hi guys,
I currently about to start a ba in history in hopes to be a history teacher.
I had a question about funding if anyone can help.
I started a drama degree and dropped out in my first year because it was awful. So I have 3 years left of funding.
My ba is three years so I’m not worried about loan for that.
But history teachers don’t receive a bursary, so I’m wondering would I still be able to use a postgraduate student finance to pay for the additional pgce 1 year course after I’ve completed my BA?

Yes, you would be able to get funding for your PGCE after you complete your History degree. We offer the undergraduate package of funding for PGCE courses rather than the Postgraduate Loan.
