Uni laptop/ipad situation

I intend to go into pharmacy for uni, and I already have a MacBook, would it be ideal to also get an iPad and an apple pen to take notes and store it on iCloud that way as a way of taking notes, or is it a waste of money?
I’m contemplating it because pharmacy course is around 4-5 years so dreading the fact that I’ll have to store notebooks for that many years, but I also don’t want to get an iPad if I won’t really use it ….
omg please help anyone lol

I'd personally recommend just taking your MacBook. They're fairly lightweight and if you can touch type then you'll likely be able to take notes faster anyway.
