The Student Room: Biology Test Prep Help Needed!

Hey everyone,

Biology student here facing a monthly test on July 15th. Feeling a bit behind and need to kick my prep into high gear! Looking for some advice from all you brainiacs out there on how to speed up my test prep in the remaining time.

Here's what I'm after:

Time Management Tips: Any suggestions on how to best plan my study schedule in the next few days?
Syllabus Coverage: Should I focus on the entire syllabus or prioritize specific areas? (Bonus if anyone has experience with similar tests, any hints on what gets emphasized?)
Repetition Strategies: How can I effectively review the material in a short time frame? Flashcards, practice questions, anything else?
Digital vs Manual Planning: Would a time management app help create my study schedule like I have PhotoRoom downloaded from Modyedge, or should I stick with the classic pen and paper method?
Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

P.S. Feel free to share any resources or study methods that have worked wonders for you in biology.
For time management I generally time block using Google Calendar (which is free 🙂). I would prioritise areas which you know are weaker, because there is no point in revising stuff you already know. For repetition, I use flashcards on StudySmarter because it has an inbuilt spaced repetition feature (which is free, unlike some other websites). I feel online flashcards are better for me because they are faster to make and I can't lose them. I find online time management better for me because they are better at visualising what I need to do.

Hope this helps!
