missed deadline for booking accomodation for kcl (24/25 undergrad)

The title says enough... I've applied for a waitlist for student residence, but is there really a chance of me getting a room after results day or am I having to look at private accommodation? Is it already too late for me?

The problem is idk how far down I am on the waitlist (i've only added myself a few days ago) and how many people do get their rooms released usually. I'm not sure whether I should start looking for private accomodation now or wait after results day.

Hello, I do have one room available, but it's not a KCL undergraduate accommodation. My accommodation is a 3 min walk from Moonraker Point. It's called Manna Ash House, and it's near Moonraker Point. (September 2024 - August 2025)
•Double En-suite (weekly rent: 369 pounds)
•10 min walk from Waterloo Station / 2 min walk from Southwark station
•Sainsbury's right next to accomodation
•double bed, private en-suite bathroom, double wardrobe

Hey guys, I was struggling with accommodation at KCL too and was watching the portal constantly. My guess is that they update the portal and make cancelled rooms available at around 12pm UK time everyday. Since the past two days, around the same time, one or two residences became available for booking. My suggestion is to keep refreshing the portal during that time, hope this helps!
