I need a job

Hey!

So, I was wondering if any of you could help me.. I know I can legally get a job when I'm 16, but I was wondering if anywhere would hire me at 15? I turn 16 in 1 months.

For personal family reasons, I really need to find a job but I don't know of anywhere that will hire a 15 year old boy, who is willing to put her all into any task given to her. Plus, the experience would be great for my CV.

I also don't really know how to go about asking for a job, or what to do.. I do have a CV ready though.

Would stores like Tesco or Pets at Home hire me, or do I have to be 16? If not, could you please suggest anywhere that would?

You generally do have to be 16, but you could say that you are not available to be employed until after you turn 16. I would recommend having a look for vacancies on Indeed where you live, and set up email notifications for jobs that may work for you.

Legally you can apply for a job right now with boots the chest as they employ young people first the age of 15. I worked with boots at 15.5 few years ago and they are still taking on people today at 15.

Tesco, Morrisons etc etc won't entertain you until you are 16 but majority of retailers have a age 18 restriction rule ( basically it means you can't work in certain areas of the supermarket due to the age 18 restriction) but you can work anywhere else in the supermarket okay. Go ahead and apply for them on there own website.

You could apply for the likes of Tesco and Morrisons etc just before your 16th birthday and by the time they look at your application you'll be 16 but I would just hang on until you hit 16.

Team leader and stand in supervisor as required which Tesco ( currently part-time).

I don’t know if this can be done but given you have to be 16 in some places to be employed, it does not mean you can’t APPLY for jobs I.e send in your application and if you get an interview (normally takes a couple of weeks to go through to that stage anyway and a week or two (sometimes three) for interviews, by that time, you’ll be 16 anyway.
