IB HL history

What is the best way to study for higher level history? There's five full textbooks and I'm not sure whether flashcards would be more viable, writing notes or just using other methods like blurting.

Hi! Having different textbooks can be truly confusing. What helped me were my notes ( try keeping everything organized and in one place). I also liked to prepare short lectures on the topic I needed to revise. I know that some people like using flashcards to revise names and dates before the exam ( didn't really work for me, so I just reread my notes). Different things work for different people, so I'd recommend you to just find a technique/ method that helps you memorize a lot of stuff and access it quickly, if you need to revise. Hope this helps you!

thank you for your help!! I will definitely focus more on note-taking and rereading because I think that works best for me!

The most important is to practice imo. In addition to flashcard and having a regular study planning. For the practice Tilf website is good as you can write essays and get the feedback, if you do it regularly you will improve
