UWE Degree Classifications
Hi all. I’ve just received my final essay mark back for my undergrad degree. I’ve used the degree calculator and calculated my overall mark to be 69.21, which estimates it to be a 2:1. I understand that anything greater than 69.5 automatically gets rounded up to a first, but does anyone know if there’s a chance my mark could get rounded up too? Feel so close to that first, it’s just annoying!

Hi. At UWE. If you achieved a first (70%<) in at least 50% of your highest level credits (final year) so 50 of the counted 100 best , you will be able to get a first if you got 69.1 and above. Hope that helps.
