Marital Status Form student finance

My mum submitted the marital status form on her sfe account for both me and my brother but both our letters came and it showed that my brother got the maximum maintenance loan while I only got the minimum. Im sure I completed everything on my student finance application correctly so can somebody help me out here.

I've just noticed that it wasn't anything wrong with my marital status forms it was just that my mum submitted the tax year information for my brother and not me. I've submitted it for my application now but it says financial information is no longer required. Does that mean the evidence i submitted won't be considered anymore or will they still take it and change my maintenance loan

Hi there,

Did your mum support your application on her online account or has she uploaded the PFF2 form?

Thanks, Drew

I went through it all just now I checked she only uploaded the tax year info on my brothers application and not mine because she thought it was for both.
I just checked aswell that the evidence for the marital status form was only on my brothers aswell and not on mine. I've uploaded the tax year evidence onto my application and I'm trying to find the evidence for the marital status form. Is there any way that the marital status evidence on my brothers application can also be used to support my application?

Hi Samil456,

If your mum uploads a cover letter stating this then the information can be used for multiple students' applications.

Thanks,
Calum
