RHUL -Failed 2 Modules- Year 2

I'm gutted!!

I am year 2 at @Royal Holloway, University of London. RHUL

I have failed one module and 1 exam.

The failed module I have been allowed to 'Repeat in Attendance'

The failed exam I have been offered to 'Resit next academic year 2024/2025'

Does this mean that next year I will only be doing 1 repeat module and at the end resit the 1 exam - and therefore not do these alongside my year 3 modules

or can the repeated module be done alongside year 3

desperate to not have to wait a year before being allowed to complete my final year.

Hi @hanabananna ,

This sounds like a frustrating situation to be in and it can be hard when you don't get the grades you think you deserved or worked hard for.

This will probably depend from university to university- some will let you repeat the module alongside other modules and some you might have to only do that module. I think it's likely they will let you repeat the module alongside your other modules for next year but it is best to check with your university as I don't know this for sure.

I would contact your university help team as soon as possible and ask them about this and what you will be doing next year so you are prepared for this. They should be able to help you answer this question but if not you could always email the module leader or your tutor for the module that you need to repeat as they might know the answer to this. Your course leader will probably also know the answer to this too if you need to contact them.
