Using MAT And STEP for TMUA

Hi, I am preparing for my TMUA exam and I want to get a high score. I was advised to do some past paper questions from MAT and STEP. Do you think that this would be beneficial for me? and for STEP, which STEP should I do? (I believe there is STEP 1, STEP 2 and STEP 3). Are there any other pieces of advice you guys can offer me? (I appreciate anything) Many thanks

step 1 (discontinued) was based on a level maths, step 2 is a level maths + as further, step 3 is a level maths + a level further.

For practicing paper 1 tmua, the mat multiple choice is probably the closest (and the livestream resources). The step foundation modules (based on ~step 1) could be worth working through as well but mat/tmua paper 1 is largely as maths, so there may be some extra bits in there as well. For basic problem solving stuff, you could try a few ukmt smc papers as well.
