Uni results - Access to HE

I had my results back for university and I’m not sure if I should wait until my college sends to them or tell them that I have got my results and see what happens to see what are my choices and I’m going to be honest I still haven’t passed much maths and I don’t think my course requires maths. I just really want to go to university as I had such a rough childhood and it will make me so happy but I’m not sure when I should send the results and I was looking forward to my results but before my results my parents kept telling me I should go on universal credit and I just feel like I have failed already and my ucas is points are slightly below than I thought too

Send a copy of your full results to both your Firm and Insurance Unis.
If you haven't exactly met your offers, don't panic as the Unis may accept you anyway.
Then get a job for the summer and enjoy some time-off.

Just sent it to my firm choice! I will update you when I can 😊

nervous.
Depending on the university they might want to wait until the results are sent to them by the exam boards/ucas at the start of August. Not all universities will accept a results sheet from a college as proof of results and you won’t get your certificate until the autumn

If you are just under or within the ballpark of your offer there’s a good chance they will just confirm your place (depending on how competitive your uni/course is), if you’re a bit further below the offer you might have to wait until A-level results come out before they confirm or decline you.

But don’t panic, whatever happens you haven’t failed anyone as long as you have it your best shot you should be proud of what you’ve achieved.

Best of luck x

If the results for the conditional offer are not ones sent to UCAS, does this change this? I know GCSE results don't come until after A level results, but what about other Level 2s where results are out before August (but certificates don't come until September)

The exam results sent to UCAS are listed on their webpage. If your offer is conditional on something not on that list then you need to send your results to your university directly
