Dating apps - ghosting

Hey

Just for context, I'm a 21 year old guy currently doing a degree apprenticeship and I think it's been really successful so far. I've been getting 1sts at uni, and my prospects seem strong in theory. As a result of my apprenticeship I've been able to learn to fly as a hobby, and I also go to gigs, play guitar etc.

Now one little downside of what I do is that I'm working in a male dominated field on a male dominated university course, so even though I do feel ready for a relationship, meeting women is a bit tricky at times, so Ive been on dating apps lately.

I'll be open, Ive never been in a relationship, nor been on a date, nor even kissed a girl (embarrassing I know 😂) so this is all new to me. Ive been getting a few matches but I seem to struggle into actually progressing it into a date. I try to get to know them a bit, asking open ended questions about their interests etc, but I often just seem to get randomly ghosted, unmatched etc.

Am I doing something wrong here?

Don’t take it too personally for a start -
Girls and boys now are flitty jumping from one option to another and always looking for a better bet. It’s sad but comes from Zuckerberg anti social media brigade of
Compare and contrast. Perhaps try some groups or classes in person like old school
Style ?
