Kinda got stood up ?

My Ex M/23 has been texting me F/23 off and on lately lots of flirting messages. We hooked up about a month ago. He's been liking my insta posts etc. I posted a quote to my public instagram story saying "I was unforgettable and hard to replace"... He commented on the post sending me a message saying "yea yea yea". I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic so I responded saying"you know it". He responded saying "mmm idk", then I said "you know that you still like me". He responded saying "how are you so sure", I responded saying "so you don't". He responded saying "I do", then I said "and you haven't done anything about it"? He then said "what am I supposed to do"? Then he proceeded to ask me out to go grab food this week, I agreed. The day comes and its silent on his end yet he is viewing all my stories I've posted today the day of our (hangout). He hasn't reached out and said anything neither have I....

I kind feel embarrassed and I feel like I gave him a ego boost. Why did he do that ?

You've answered your own question there.

NB. You ask a lot about your ex. Why are you interacting with him so much if he is causing you headaches and to second guess everything? Are you getting as much ego boost out of this as him?

He was saying “yea yea yea” sarcastically and “idk” it’s obvious he’s playing games as that shows there’s no confirmation. He’s not serious, stop speaking to him.
