Hey! Just wanted to ask a quick question about a part of the UofG clearing application process which I’m currently confused about. I currently hold an offer at another university, however, upon receiving my IB results a few days ago, I have decided that I would like to apply to study at the University of Glasgow instead. Right now, I am currently confused on what to do right now. Am I meant to reject the offer I currently have at the moment, and then complete the Online UCAS 2024 Clearing Application Form on the University's website? Or can I complete the form whilst still holding my offer from the other university (as I don't want to withdraw my current offer and be in an "application limbo")?

Hi there,

I hope you are doing well.

It's great to hear you're interested in studying here at UofG.

You can apply to one of our Clearing programmes as you have your exam results. Good thing is, you can do this without having to withdraw from your current offer. We will review your application and if an offer can be made, we will get in touch. At this point, you would then have to contact UCAS to release yourself from your firm institution and then add Glasgow as your Clearing offer.

Loads more great information & our application portal can be found here

If there's anything else I can help with, please just let me know

Thanks,
Niall
