ucas work experience

hi all,
I'm trying to fill out my UCAS application forms, found out that there isn't space for work experience (I have letters, certificate etc). Do I just have to talk about them in my personal statement? If so, how do unis know if I am lying about it or not? Is there any way to prove that I've done them?

The universities that have work experience requirements will contact you after you submit your application for more details and may contact your experience placements for confirmation of what you tell them.

so do I have to talk about all of them in my personal statement on UCAS before they ask me for proof?

No, your personal statement should argue why you want to be a vet and why you are a good fit for the university. You should use some examples from work experience but don't just list every placement you went to as it does not argue why you would make a good vet.

Here is a great resource for writing veterinary personal statements: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=2317443

Once you apply on UCAS, you will have to fill in questionnaires for the unis going into a bit more detail about where you did your work experience.
