Transferring

So I studied a Foundation Year at the University of Bolton. I had four modules. I passed 3 of them and failed one. In the next academic I want to transfer to 1st year in Coventry to study an accelerated course that I need 104 UCAS points to get in. But from my knowledge they accept people with grades as low as 64 UCAS points from their A-Levels. I was just wondering if I would be accepted into the course even having failed one of my modules and passing the other 3.
Only Coventry can answer this - they may not even accept that FY at all.

Email their admissions team with details of your course and latest transcript.

You may need to follow up with a phonecall - they are notoriously slow at responding to queries.

A FY is designed to progress at that specific uni - in this case, Bolton.

Other unis may consider external FY's, but they are not obliged to. In each case, you need to send details of it to them to find out if it's one they accept.
