A level Religious Studies. Tips?

I’m going into year 12 and starting my A levels in September. I didn’t do RS during GCSEs but have picked it for a levels as philosophy interests me. I want to do well so are there any tips to help me understand it? I’m going to be doing religious studies with OCR. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Do not worry about having not done the GCSE- from my experience the A Level is very different, which a greater focus upon philosophical thinking and reasoning. Immerse yourself in philosophy and the subject wider. I read Nigel Warburton's 'A Little History of Philosophy' before starting the A Level, and it gave me a decent head start- especially on areas such as arguments for God's existence, and basic knowledge on Ancient Greek Philosophical tradition (e.g. Plato, Aristotle). The content may feel tricky at times throughout the course, just make sure to stay confident in your ability, ask your teacher(s) questions, and enjoy!
