No, Graeme, you did not. I am new here.👋
I am a full time student, foundation year, finishing in 2024, August, 120 credits, but because my medical condition (PTSD) I want to "jump" to Distance Learning (full or PT) from September, 2024, with OU.
SFE knows about my medical condition because they approved my DSA.

Now the question: Can I change everything online from my SLC account or there is something else to do?!
---- Do I need to send the CO1 form to them?! Or PTMN (49 pages)?! ---- Why not all online?! We are in the 21st century, right? It is so stressful for me.... Am I missing something else?!
I tried to change it on my account, I found the Uni (OU) but not the course (Forensic Psychology). Please, advise... 🙏

Hi there,

Have you already submitted a full time application for the 2024/25 academic year? I have checked our database an there is a course for forensic psychology.

Thanks, Drew

Hi Drew,
Yes, I have submitted a full time application for 2024/25 and it's already approved.
I just checked again.
Showing no Forensic Psychology with OU.
Am I doing something wrong?!
Can you advise? How is there in your data base?
Is Part time Distance Learning or Full time DL? Or both? What can I do?

Hi there,

If you are trying to look up the course details to change on a full time application you will not be able to see it. You would need to cancel your full time application and then submit a new part time application. Would this be your 2nd year in the 2024/25 academic year?

Thanks, Drew

Hi Drew,
Yes, is the 2nd year. First one was/is the foundation year, which I am going to finish on next August, 2024.
Thanks!

Hi there,

You will need to complete a Change of Circumstances form to cancel your full time application. This can then be uploaded from your online account and once received it is taking approximately 23 working days to process. Once it is cancelled you can then submit the correct application which can then take 6-8 weeks to process. You can get the Change of Circumstances form from your online account.

Thanks, Drew

So, in this case, do I have to complete a PTMN form as well or not?

Hi there,

No if you apply online you would not need to submit a paper PTMN form.

Thanks, Drew
