Part time job

Hi,
I am in year 11 and I am currently been looking for part time job but I keep getting 'unfortunately...' or most of the times no response. I saw some tik toks and they said to get an agency so u can get a job. But then I don't know any agency in my area (I live in Birmingham). So does anyone know of an agency in Birmingham or any job that has a high rate of accepting 16 year old with no job experience.

I would suggest that you apply for jobs with any retailers through there own website for better success. Is it down to your age perhaps that you not getting any response back.

Year 11 means you are probably about 15 going on 16.

Only retailer who'll employ you would be boots the chemist as they employ people from the age of 15.... Apply via boots own website ☺️. All the other retailers will only start employing people from the age of 16 ok.

Agency will hopefully give you a temporary job perhaps a few days here and there as most places want a temporary cover for sickness or holiday period.

Try fast food places. They take on a lot of students. I know with mcdonalds you have to apply on the careers section of their website.

As its near the end of the school year, the OP should be 16 (or nearly 16). So even if they arent quite 16 yet, they should be within the next month or so.
