Extended Diploma? Or some other BTEC?

What is the full name of the book?

I am using this book for my BTEC course.

I am currently doing my Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Computing.

And the units I was told that I am doing is as follows.

Year 1:
Units: 1, 2, 7, 8, 10, 15

Year 2:
Units: 3, 4, 9, 18, 19, 21, 22

Lastly here is the specification of my course.

Thanks. Well, as I'm sure you're aware, that particular book only covers these units:

Unit 1: Principles of Computer Science
Unit 2: Fundamentals of Computer Systems
Unit 3: Planning and Management of Computing Projects
Unit 4: Software Design and Development Project
Unit 7: IT Systems Security and Encryption
Unit 8: Business Applications of Social Media
Unit 9: The Impact of Computing
Unit 14: Computer Games Development
Unit 15: Website Development
Unit 17: Mobile Apps Development

So it doesn't even cover all of the mandatory units. It does, however, cover all but one of the units you're doing this year, so you don't need to worry about missing units right now. Well, until you get to Unit 10!

Once you start the course, it's probably worth asking your school / college what book or resources they recommend for the units this book doesn't cover.
