NHS LSF transferring course

I just completed 1 year Bsc adult nursing ( 3 year full time course 2023/2024). I am now transferring the course to Bsc physiotherapy at the same university. I will start year 1 Bsc physiotherapy in September 2024/2025.

I have received NHS LSF through out my first year plus parental support for academic year 2023/2024. Will still entitle for NHS LSF funding for year 1 Bsc physiotherapy this 2024/2025 academic year.

Yes you should still be eligible for the NHS LSF. However, you must inform them that you have withdrawn from your original course. Details on page 9 of the following booklet:

Thank you. I know that if the case of repeating the year, NHS LSF will not paying for the year that student already been paid from them. But do you think transfer the course is class as repeating the year too since I will have to start year 1 again.

I don't think it will be classed as repeating a year as it is a new course, but email NHS LSF to check.

Hi! Just wanted to ask you if you managed to get your learning support fund for this year? Are you able to follow up and let us know ? As I'm in the same boat as you and struggling to find a clear answer. Thanks !
