MSc or another BSc

I’m in this position too. I can choose to do a MSc in Speech and Language Therapy, or a BSc. The MSc appears to be full, so I’m wondering if I should do a BSc instead. I am also considering MSc or BSc in Physiotherapy too. But applications have closed for MSc. I don’t want to waste anymore time and begin my course in September, the BSc are both on clearing. Does anyone have any advice or support?

If the MSc is full you would have to wait until next year to apply. If you get a place on a BSc course to start in September, then you would qualify at the same time as if you waited for the masters course. For both options, you would be able to enter the NHS on band 5. Have you got any shadowing experience (for SLT or physio) and public-facing work/volunteering experience? Unis want these to show that you understand the job and will be able to handle the general public.

Thank you for your response. I have experience working as a TA in schools. This is a desired work experience that LBU suggested
